VCFERROUS - HOT BLACKENING SALT
1. Oxidation Process: As the metal parts soak in the hot blackening salt solution, a controlled oxidation process occurs, resulting in the formation of the black oxide layer on the surface of the metal. This layer provides corrosion resistance and enhances the appearance of the metal by producing a uniform black finish.
2. Rinsing and Sealing: After the desired black oxide coating has been achieved, the metal parts are removed from the blackening salt solution and thoroughly rinsed with water to remove any residual chemicals. Optionally, a sealing process may be applied to further enhance the durability and corrosion resistance of the black oxide layer.
