PHOSPHATING CHEMICAL

1. ZNP-54 ZINC PHOSPHATING CHEMICAL 2. Generally zinc phosphate conversion coating is used to provide long lasting corrosion protection. Almost all automotive industries use this type of conversion coating. It is suitable for the products come against hard weather conditions. Coating quality is better than iron phosphate coating. It forms 2 - 5 gr/m² coating on the metal surface when used as under paint. Application, set up and control of this process are more difficult than other methods and can be applied by immersion or spray. 3. Organic compounds like nickel and manganese are added to the bath to increase the coating performance. Also activation can be used to form small phosphate crystals on the metal surface before zinc phosphating. 4. Zinc phosphate reaction happens in amorphous shape with gray - black color. 5. pH optimizers are added to accelerate the reaction. Temperature, application time, concentration, pH, total acid and free acid values are the parameters which must be under control. 6. Zinc phosphates, coating range between 7 - 15 gr/m², are used in wire drawing, tube drawing and cold forming industries. Phosphated metal workpieces are prepared to the next stage by application of protective lubricans and soap

CHROMATIZING Aluminium chromate and its applications What we call as phosphating to steel an iron is called chromating for aluminium surfaces. Also it is knows as alodine coating. There are yellow, green and transparent chromating types. Yellow chromate coats Cr+6, green chromate coats Cr+3. Coating weight can vary according to application time and coating type. Drying temperature must not pass over 65 º C for yellow chromate and 85 º C for green and transparent chromate coatings. It is importat to provide clean, grease free surface before chromate application. If hot degreasing bath is prepared, caustic bath and following nitric acid bath can be used for pickling. On the other hand, acidic degreasing baths have pickling ability with itselves. Chromating and paint adhesion will be much better on pickled and degreased aluminium surface.

PRE-TRETMENT CHEMICAL

VC AR306 INTRODUCTION : VC AR306 is a powder based activator which is used at low concentrations prior to zinc phosphating. By dipping the parts in VC AR306 bath prior to phosphating, it accelerates the subsequent phosphating process and also refines the structure of the zinc phosphate coating resulting in smooth fine uniform compact coating. PROPERTIES : Colour : White Form : Free flowing powder PH of 0.2-0.3% : 8-9 APPLICATION : VC AR306 bath can be prepared in M.S. or plastic tank/container. It is to be used at 0.2% to 0.3% concentration with water, at room temperature for one minute. The bath should always be kept in a slightly agitated condition by mechanical means or by passing compressed air from the bottom of the tank to avoid settling of the activator at the bottom of the tank. MAINTENANCE OF BATH : Once the bath is prepared, daily addition should be made once during the day. Addition should be made when pH falls below 8. Always maintain pH between 8-9. New bath should be prepared once in week or once in 15 days, depending on the work load. PRECAUTION : 1. Since the product is alkaline in nature always wear PVC/Rubber gloves while handling or working with this product. 2. Any splashes on skin or eyes should be flushed off with plenty of water and thereafter immediately consult physician. 3. Use of eye goggles and apron is recommended. PACKING : 15 Kgs & 50 Kgs.

DEGREASING CHEMICAL

VCHEMKLIN is designed to simplify pre-paint treatment of metal aircraft surfaces like wing sections, fuselages as well as automobiles and tractor assemblies. Complete assembled planes can be cleaned and conditioned right on the field without the use of special equipment. Easy hand application of VCHEMKLIN by brushing, swabbing or spraying provides thoroughly clean passivated surface ready for touch-up or complete refinishing. FAST, LOW COST METHOD :- Passivating with VCHEMKLIN is not intended to replace anodizing and chromatising in aircraft and automobile manufacturing. However it produces similar results faster and at much lower cost where those processes are impractical or unavailable. REMOVES, PREVENTS CORROSION :- Light oxides and surface corrosive residues are quickly and easily removed by merely applying VCHEMKLIN by wipe method and rinsing with water. Surfaces is made chemically inert oxide and soil free to prevent corrosion from spreading under paint coatings.

PHOSPHATING CHEMICAL

Vitarag Chemicals is a leading manufacturer and exporter of a wide range of Metal Pretreatment Chemicals that find application for various purposes. Quality tested on various parameters, we assure our clients completely flawless products. Extremely effective, our range can be availed in standard as well as customized packing as per the requirement of our clients. Our complete range can be availed at market leading prices. 3 IN 1 is a liquid chemical product used for surface preparation of metals before painting. The objective of treating metals with 3 IN 1, before painting is to prolong the life of paints by offering it a “compatible” surface to which it will be locked. 3 IN 1 removes oils, rust, soils, etc. And forms a phosphate coating integral with metal surface. 3 IN 1 Pretreating metals with 3 IN 1 offers the following advantages :- Prevents under paint corrosion Prevents spreading of rust from a damaged area to sound area adjoining it Increases paint adhesion with metal substrate Prevents paints from peeling or flaking off Enhances durability and life of paints

DEGREASING CHEMICAL

VCHROM - AL is a concentrated colourless liquid which can be used to produce colourless non-chromate films/coatings on aluminium and its alloys. This process is most suitable to provide under-paint corrosion and to provide good bonding of powder coats or liquid paints with the aluminium surface. VCHROM - AL poses no pollution problems as compared to chromate treatments. VCHROM - AL process is very simple and economical as mild degreasing and pre-treatment takes place simultaneously while giving a good colourless coating that suits perfectly well prior to coating or painting. If oil contamination is more on surface, separate cleaning in ALM-81 is recommended, using 3-5% concentration. USES : VCHROM - AL process can be used on any aluminium surfaces or on aluminium alloys. It may not be suitable on certain alloys or castings as it may tend to produce a superficial black film, which needs to be washed thoroughly well with water.
