VCBLKHB 18 COLD BLACKENING
- VCBLKHB-18 is a cold chemical blackening solution developed by Vitarag Chemicals, a company based in Vadodara, Gujarat. This product is designed to apply a black oxide finish to ferrous metals, including iron, steel, and brass, without the need for high-temperature processes.
* Cold Blackening Process
1. Degreasing – Removes oil, grease, and contaminants.
2. Pickling (optional) – Removes rust or oxidation layers using a mild acid.
3. Cold Blackening Bath – Metal is immersed in a chemical blackening solution (e.g., VCBLKHB-18).
4. Rinsing – Washes off excess chemicals.
5. Sealing with Oil or Wax – Improves corrosion resistance and enhances finish.
