VCFERROUS - HOT BLACKENING SALT
Application Process:
1. Cleaning: Before blackening, the metal surface must be thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, oil, rust, and scale.
2. Preparation: The metal parts are then immersed in the hot blackening salt solution at elevated temperatures (typically around 290-325°C or 554-617°F).
3. Blackening: The immersion time can vary but is usually relatively short, often just a few minutes, depending on the desired thickness of the black oxide layer.
4. Rinsing and Sealing: After blackening, the parts are rinsed and sometimes treated with a sealing agent or oil to enhance corrosion resistance and appearance.
