CLN-108 ALKALINE DEGREASING
Cleaning Process:
Preparation: The metal parts or components to be cleaned are usually placed in a degreasing tank or cleaning system.
Immersion or Spray: The alkaline degreasing solution, such as CLN-108, is either sprayed onto the metal surfaces or the parts are immersed in the solution.
Chemical Action: The alkaline solution acts to break down oils and greases by saponification, which converts the contaminants into water-soluble compounds.
Emulsification: Surfactants in the solution help to emulsify the contaminants, allowing them to be lifted off the metal surface and remain suspended in the cleaning solution.
Rinsing: After cleaning, the metal parts are typically rinsed with water to remove the alkaline solution and any remaining residues.
Drying: The cleaned metal parts are then dried using air blowers, ovens, or other drying methods.
