* Types of Steel Blackening Processes
1. Hot Black Oxide

Operating temperature is typically around 135–150°C.
Produces a durable black finish.
2. Room-Temperature (Cold) Blackening
Uses selenium-based or other proprietary chemical solutions.
Applied at ambient temperature.
Easier and less expensive than hot black oxide.
Generally offers lower durability and corrosion resistance.
3. Mid-Temperature Blackening
Operates at lower temperatures than hot black oxide.
Reduces energy consumption while producing a quality finish.
