An Air Mix (Airmix) system for liquid paint is a high-efficiency spraying system that combines the features of both airless and conventional air spray systems. It is widely used in industrial liquid painting applications where you need high transfer efficiency, fine finish quality, and reduced overspray.
* What Is an Air Mix System?
- Air Mix = Airless + Low Pressure Atomization Air
- Airless component: Paint is delivered at medium pressure (typically 30–120 bar / 450–1750 psi).
- Air assist (atomizing air): A small amount of compressed air (0.5–2 bar / 7–30 psi) helps finely atomize the paint as it exits the tip.
