DEGREASING CHEMICAL

VCHROM - AL is a concentrated colourless liquid which can be used to produce colourless non-chromate films/coatings on aluminium and its alloys. This process is most suitable to provide under-paint corrosion and to provide good bonding of powder coats or liquid paints with the aluminium surface. VCHROM - AL poses no pollution problems as compared to chromate treatments. VCHROM - AL process is very simple and economical as mild degreasing and pre-treatment takes place simultaneously while giving a good colourless coating that suits perfectly well prior to coating or painting. If oil contamination is more on surface, separate cleaning in ALM-81 is recommended, using 3-5% concentration. USES : VCHROM - AL process can be used on any aluminium surfaces or on aluminium alloys. It may not be suitable on certain alloys or castings as it may tend to produce a superficial black film, which needs to be washed thoroughly well with water.

Powder Coating Remover

CHROMATIZING Aluminium chromate and its applications What we call as phosphating to steel an iron is called chromating for aluminium surfaces. Also it is knows as alodine coating. There are yellow, green and transparent chromating types. Yellow chromate coats Cr+6, green chromate coats Cr+3. Coating weight can vary according to application time and coating type. Drying temperature must not pass over 65 º C for yellow chromate and 85 º C for green and transparent chromate coatings. It is importat to provide clean, grease free surface before chromate application. If hot degreasing bath is prepared, caustic bath and following nitric acid bath can be used for pickling. On the other hand, acidic degreasing baths have pickling ability with itselves. Chromating and paint adhesion will be much better on pickled and degreased aluminium surface.

It is non-caustic, non-splattering, safe, energysaving, fast, dependable and convenient. It increases productivity and lowers labour costs.Finishing can be done anywhere without special equipment, ventilation, heating systems or anycomplicated control procedures.EQUIPMENT REQUIREDAcid Resistant tanks, containers, tumbling barrels, baskets, hooks and racks must be used withVCBLK HB-18 and derusting tank. Plastic or Rubber lined tanks and plastic-coated hooks andracks are suitable for both VCBLK HB-18 and derusting tanks. Mild steel may be used fordegreasing, rinsing & sealant tanks.DIRECTIONS FOR USE1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the pieces to be blackened in KLN 18. The type and degree ofsurface soil will determine the length of time and the number of cleaning steps and cleaningtemperature (M.S. Tank).2. Rinse thoroughly in overflowing cold water (M.S. Tank).3. Surface rust, if present, should be removed following cleaning cycle using RLN 27 at aconcentration of 1:1 at room temperature (FRP Tank).4. Rinse thoroughly in overflowing cold water (M.S. Tank).5. Immerse the pieces in VCBLK HB-18 solution. VCBLK HB-18 solution is to be diluted with 6to 12 parts of water depending on alloy and surface, hardness. The immersion time necessary toproduce the desired depth of black, is usually one to three minutes. For most parts a dilution ofone part VCBLK HB-18 with 9 parts of water would give good results (FRP Tank).6. Rinse the pieces in overflowing cold water for 30 seconds (M.S. Tank). 7. Immerse the pieces in oil, a dewatering type rust preventive at room temperature for 3 minutesto seal the finish and impart corrosion resistance (M.S. Tank). The above parts can be sealed while wet or dry. If parts have to be dried prior to sealing, step 6should be followed with a hot water rinse and the parts to be sealed as soon as they are dry.A wide range of rust preventives are available with us. Consult us on what type of finish andprotection you require for your parts or components and we can suggest a suitable oil.

Powder Coating Remover

Vitarag Chemicals is a leading Manufacturer of 7 tank process chemicals. we have been supplying chemicals in India. · 7 TANK PROCESS : · This invention relates to a process of pretreating and painting the surface of zinc-based metals. Importance of Understanding the Chemicals Used in the 7 Tank Process for Powder Coating Before we delve into the types of chemicals utilized in the 7-tank process, let\\'s first explore the significance of understanding them. Knowledge about these chemicals empowers engineers, technicians, and industry professionals to make informed decisions at each stage of the process. Understanding the characteristics, applications, and potential risks associated with different chemicals is crucial. Conversion Coating Chemicals in 7-Tank Process Chemicals Conversion coating chemicals play a crucial role in the highly effective 7-tank process, providing an essential step in the surface preparation of various metals. Their significance lies in their ability to enhance the durability and corrosion resistance of the materials they are applied to. conversion coating chemicals are an indispensable part of any metal finishing process. The types of conversion coating chemicals used are diverse, including phosphate-based, chromate-based, and zirconium-based coatings. Each type offers unique qualities and benefits, ensuring excellent adhesion and surface protection. These chemicals form a thin, uniform layer on the metal surface, which not only acte as a barrier against corrosion but also facilitat adhesion of subsequent coatings, such as Privacy Terms powder coating. · By zinc-based metals we mean zinc itself and alloys of zinc with minor proportions of other alloying materials, together with those impurities known to the art to occur therein. For example the metal may be zinc sheet, formed zinc strip or zinc-based die-casting alloys, typically containing 90 percent or more by weight of zinc. Alternatively the metal surface to be treated may be a zinc coating applied to an iron or steel substrated, for example by hot dipping or electrodeposition and usually referred to as galvanized iron or steel. The zinc surface may also be passivated by, for example, subjecting it to the action of an aqueous solution of certain chromium salts, to further increase its corrosion resistance. · Metal surfaces of the above type are frequently found to provide unfavorable surfaces on which to deposit paint films, a commonly observed defect being that of poor adhesion between the paint and the metal substrate. · It has been proposed to pretreat the surface of zinc-based metals prior to painting them by subjecting the surface to the action of a chemical solution which deposits an adherent crystalline zinc phosphate conversion coating thereon. The process usually involves a precleaning stage and optionally a water rinse to remove dirt and/or oily residues from the surface prior to its chemical treatment. The phosphate coating is believed to have a beneficial keying action on paint coatings applied to its surface, thus improving the paint to metal adhesion. Although this treatment has given satisfactory results in many instances, there still exist circumstances in which the adhesion between the metal surface and the paint coating may fall short of acceptable commercial standards.
