ALUMINIUM PRE-TREATMENT CHEMICAL
Base : Phosphoric Acid Base Chemical.
Solubility : Thoroughly soluble in water.
Color : Water White.
Concentration : One part of chemical is diluted with nine parts of water. Dilution is Depended by the
amount of oil present. The chemical is used cold.
Point : Concentrated of 10 % bath Solution gives 12 to 16 ml. Point.
Application : This chemical is used whenever parts contain grease, oil and Anodize. This can be
used by brush application of immersion. Immersion is preferred To brush
application.
Bath Design : Tank is made up of 10mm thick. M.S. tank with rubber or F.R.P. lining. For Small
components PVC tank can be used. As free Grease floats on the Surface generally
tank design is made with large surface area consideration. Lifting tackles are
preferably used for handling materials. A bottom outlet With gate valve provided for
removal of insoluble impurities. M.S. screen Is provided above the bottom. Outlet so
that impurities do not disperse in the Solution. Water inlets are provided at top.
