An AirMix system (also called Air-Assisted Airless Spray Painting) combines the advantages of conventional air spray and airless spray technologies. It is widely used for applying liquid paint in industrial finishing applications.
* How AirMix Works
In an AirMix system:
1.A pump pressurizes the paint (typically 30–200 bar, depending on the application).
2. The paint passes through a special spray tip, which begins atomization.
3.A small amount of compressed air is added at the spray gun.
4. The air refines the spray pattern and improves paint atomization.
5. The paint is deposited evenly on the workpiece.
